                                                                             Cleaning

Common Problems:

  • Traditional high pressure blasting methods damage delicate surfaces and create dust clouds which are unhealthy to all near the work site, involves hours of containment and cleanup.

  • The possibility of shutting down worksite during blasting timeframe

  • Low Pressure blasting methods do not have the necessary power to achieve the required results, which leads to greater costs and lost time.

Solution: Eco Blast by Blake utilizes advanced technology to bring the blasting industry a system that can be used at pressures as low as 30psi for delicate surfaces, such as sandstone and limestone, or as high as 125psi for stubborn surface coatings. Using a mixture of airflow, water and your choice of media, Eco Blast by Blake meets industry standards, involves little to no containment or cleanup and reduces 97% of airborne particles.

Vapor Blasting:

Vapor Blasting: An eco-friendly method of abrasive blasting. Using Eco Blast, Blake’s has the ability to cut air borne dust by up to 97% while achieving or exceeding rates comparable to traditional dry abrasive blasting. Project costs are dramatically reduced by minimizing containment. The Eco Blast process is capable of operating in a number of difficult environmental conditions in terms of rain, high humidity, and even under water.

A subsidiary of Blake’s Painting, Inc. With more than 18 years in the painting and coatings industry, Blake’s Painting, Inc. has always worked with industry leading products and services that are ecologically safer for our environment. We are proud to introduce Eco Blast by Blake in 2015, a safer and more cost effective alternative to traditional abrasive blasting. Eco-blasting is also known as “slurry blasting” or “wet blasting”. By adding very little water, it creates a vapor which eliminates all dust. The vapor also keeps all surfaces cool so the surfaces will not warp. Unlike traditional sandblasting, Eco Blast enables us to do very thin gage steel and aluminum without creating friction or heat. Welcome to the hybrid of blasting!
